Quadro Arrow Four-Point Separation System

Quadro Arrow is an advanced four-point separation system recognized as Europe’s most innovative separation solution, receiving the Innovation in Space Award 2023 at the European Space Summit. It combines extensive flight heritage with a patented four-point mechanical architecture designed to support the next generation of microsatellite platforms.

The system enables shock-free, non-pyrotechnic deployment, preserving payload integrity during separation. Quadro Arrow successfully flew on SpaceX Transporter-13, while its critical subsystems — including locking mechanisms and pusher assemblies — have accumulated heritage across dozens of space missions.

Mechanical synchronization allows all four separation points to be released using a single command, eliminating complex and failure-prone multiplexing electronics. The patented CarboNIX pusher lever technology ensures a low average tumbling rate of approximately 0.6°/s across all three axes. Optimized for mass efficiency and fully ITAR-free, Quadro Arrow delivers the lowest specific mass among four-point separation systems.
