OSSIE — Orbit Solutions to Simplify Injection and Exploration — is a modular spacecraft platform designed to reduce the complexity of placing CubeSats and small satellites onto precise and non-traditional orbits. OSSIE enables accurate injection into custom Earth orbits, as well as lunar or deep-space trajectories, removing the burden of advanced orbital maneuvering from payload developers.
The platform is fully modular and scalable, allowing configuration to be tailored to mission objectives. Depending on customer requirements, OSSIE can be equipped with chemical or electric propulsion systems to support operations in Earth orbit, cislunar space, and beyond.
OSSIE supports direct orbital injection, altitude and inclination changes, constellation plane phasing, and local time of ascending/descending node (LTAN/LTDN) adjustments. By abstracting orbital logistics into a dedicated platform, OSSIE enables faster mission development cycles and expands access to orbits that were previously costly or operationally complex.
